WOOL STILL GOING UP, (BY TELEGRAPH.-COPYRIGHT.) [REUTERS TELEGRAMS.]
London, September 10. At to-day's auctions 11,800 bales were catalogued. The market is strong, and prices show a further advance. Greasy wools are now l£d to 2d higher than at the close of the June series. Ordinary scoured is 3d to 3£d, and good scoured is 2d to 2£d higher. Fine, short greasy crossbred is l^d to 2d, and coarse crossbreds Id to 2d per lb higher.
London, September 11. At the wool sale to-day 10,700 bales were catalogued. The market continues firm. Fine crossbred wools are very firm. Scoured wools are from 2£d to 3d higher than last sales.
[PBKSS ASSOCIATION.] London, September 12. The wool market is improving da^lyj and prices have advanced ft halfpenny to a penny above the opening rates all round. Gl,ooo bales have been catalogued, nearly half of which have been taken by home factories.
