THE KIMBERLEY RUSH.
The Triumph left Lytlleton for Kimberley on Saturday. She took 150 passengers, and IGO horses tor Derby. She calls at Wellington. The agent of tho barque Notero at Auckland has received the following cable from the Acting Colonial Secretary of Western Australia :: — •• Perth, June 29. — It is said that sufficient water for gold washing is not available on the Kimberley diggings until about October, or even later. Them seems no other consideration which neftd delay miners with means who bring their stores and equipments, including horses." We learn from the Herald, Mr H. B. Morton announces that the s.s. Tamsui is to leave Wellington on the 6th instant for Cambridge gulf. Tnis gentleman is also sending the brigantine Myitle from Whangaroa with a cargo of timber.
