Tin: adjourned anniul meeting of th« Hamilton Football Club was held last S.iturd.iy at the Coininprci.il Hotel. There wnn a room full of footballers, and Mr H. Stpclo was voted to the chair. The minutes of the last annual meeting, and ths balaiice-»beet for 18S5, wero road and confirmed. A special \ ote of thanks was accorded Mr Bindon for his unflagging zeal in furthering athletic sports, and for the time and labour demoted to tho improvement of tho football ground. Tho following officer* and committee for the current year were elected :— President, Mr J. B. Whyte, M.H.R. ; vice-preaidents, Meun E Lake, M.H.R., and W. A. Graham ; captain for aeaaon, Mr W. N. Yon Stunner; bon. aec and treaanrar, Mr P. E. Stevens; committee, M«nra Wrinntt, Wood, Staircase, F. Odium, U. Mclntyre and Davis. It mi resolved that membera playing in matches should be uniformly dressed, tbt colour to be dark navy blue. On Wednesdays there will be ordinary practice, and on Saturdays scratch matches. Thn secretary wan requested to send a chftUonffe to tho Cambridge Footfall Club for tho sth June, the match to be played in Hamilton, m the last was played in Cambridge. A vote of thanks to the chaii brought the meeting to a clo->e.
