R.M. COURT, CAMBRIDGE.
Thursday.— (Bofore Mr H. W. Northcroft, R.M.) FALSB PRETKNCES. F. &ioholson, was brought up on warrant issued by the Auckland bench, charged with that he did on the 17th February, 1886, at Auckland, impose upon one W. 'H. Cranawick, by a false representation in writing, with a view to obtain money from the Mid W. H. Cr«.nswick. The accused was remanded to Auckland. DRUNKENNESS. Qeorge Leaning was charged with being drunk while in charge of ft waggon and four horses, on the Ist April. Constable Bronnan proved the charge, and said it was his first offence. Fined 20s and costs. CIVIL CASES. TkMktav. Haimona Pataba, judgment summons. Mr Dyer for plaintiff. Mr J. S. Master Was sworn as interpreter. The plaintiff gave evidence as to Haimona'a ability to pay the debt. Order made for the amount claimed, £7 12s, and;costs, £1 3s 6d, to be paid by the 16th May, or one month's imprisonment. J. S. BUOKLAND Y. ThOS. McDONALD.— Mr Dyer for plaintiff. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed, £41 8s Gd, and £4 6s costs. Samk v. John Bogik, judgment summons. Chas. Tuck gave evidence as to defendant's means. His Worship said that the fact of defendant's name bein-? on the rate roll was no evidence of the defendant's meant. Adjourned till next court day. Piako Countt Council v. John Bogie. —Mr Dyer for plaintiff ; claim, £3 15s for ratei. Chas. Tuck, county clerk, proved the debt. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed and costs, £1 3s fid. Same v. R. C. Greenwood.— Mr Dyer for plaintiff, claim, £5 12a 6d for rates. Chas. Tuck, county clerk, proved the debt. Judgment for plaintiff claimed and costs, £11756 d. ______ ___
