The result of the month's extracting at ono of Messrs Karl'h apiaries from Decembei .">th to JJccembui 20th, inclusive from 100 hives, is «,3SO lbs. This is highly satisfactory. Tho best day's work was 2,27") lbs, on December 2(5. The machine m use is mie-.uf Branston and Foster's (5 comb extractor, with an improved method attached invented by Mr C. Karl to give increased speed to the extractor, m which tho oiiginal machine was deficient. From the above results of 831bs for box of about 2"> days it is evident the Messrs Karl are thoroughly masters of their work.— (Con cspondent).
