The meeting for tho election of a committee for the W.iioroiigomai district w.is held on Monday evening. In accoi dance with instructions fioin the Board of Education the boundaries of the di«tnct were hist considered, and it was resolved that the dividing line between Te Aroha and Waiorongomai should be Stoney Creek, from it*. confluence with the W.uhou river to its source, thence northward along the dividing r,»nj?e to the boundary of the district as originally constituted. Messrs Munro, Ferguson, IWm>ii, Smerdon, (J.illagher, Adams and Montague were elected members of committee. At their meeting afterwards Mr Smeidon was appointed chairman of committee, and Mr G. lieesou secretary.— (Own Correspondent).
