Ngaruawahia.

The annual meeting for the election of school committees, &c, was held in the schoolroom on Monday evening. About tho usu.il number of person-* interested turned up, and Mr Win, butcher was called to the chair. Mr K. Jamex, secretary to the outgoing committee, read the annual report, which was adopted. The meeting then proceeded to elect a committee for tho ensuing year. The following gentlemen found thpuicehes at the top of the poll :— Messrs E. Fitzp.itrick, Wm. Butcher, A. Oooinbe-t, F. <!. Taylor, R. James, D. Thomnon and John Skinner, nnd were declared duly eh-ctcd. A first meeting of the new committee wan subsequfntly held, at which Mr Bdtoher vv.-n elected chairman, and* Mr K. James re-elected secretary for tho ensuing year.
