A NEW IMPLEMENT.
Mr Henry Reynolds, of Woodlands, has patented a machine to be called " The Triumph Ti-tree Cutter." Mosmv. Eraser and Tmne are to make the machines, and have just completed the first, of which there is to be a public trial shortly. The superiority of the "Triumph" ti-tree cuttpr is said to be that it works with greater ease, and is not ho liable so breakage as other imchiues ; also, that by an attachment it can be used for all the purposes of a mowing machine. These ti tree cutters, if successful, will me ma Urge saving to settleis breaking up new country, as clearing, which costs up to 12s an acie when done by hand, can. it is said, be done by machinery for 2s Od, or lest,. The " Triumph" cuts ti-tree up to 1^ inches and the giowth is seldom larger than that for any very large aiea. Tho time and place of public trial is, we belio\e, shortly to be advciti&ed, when we would advise all who can to go and see for themselves the suitability, or otherwise, of the»e machines for their i elective dk-tricK
