[press association.] Chhistohukoh, Wednesday. Joy came with the morning when it broke fine for the great day of the Canterbury Metropolitan Agricultural and Pastoral Association's Show. The display through out was a most imposing one, notwithstanding the fact that some of the Southern exhibitors had hold back this year, to the i egret of the friends of the Agricultuial and Pastoral Association. Thefollowing medals were awarded : — Gold medal for the best bull of any age, (1. Steel's Rosas Earl ; gold medal for the best cow, Mr John Deans' Duchess of Brunswick. Two silver medals for merino sheep weie taken by Mr W. H. Teschemaker, and two by Mr A. McMaster. Messrs H. and J. E, Parker. H. Overton, Mr W. Boag, Mr H. J. Washbourne, Mr J. Deans, Mr Dudley, and Mr Northoy also secured medals in the various classos of sheep.
