HOKITIKA, Monday.
On Saturday aitcrnoon a man named Louis Jean, employed by the conti actor for removing piles on the wharf, was the victim of an explosion of dynamite. He was 1 amnring dynamite into the tube when it exploded, sluttciing both hia legs. Ho was removed to the Hospital, where he died two hours after the accident.
