OUR CO-OPERATIVE ASSOCIATION.
TO THE EIMTOH. Sir,— l think that it is just as well that all the shareholders of the North New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative- Association should know that it is currently rumoured here to-day that the registered office of the company is to be at No. IS), Queen-street, Auckland ; that the secretary pro tern was requested to take all books, &c. to Auckland at once ; that all proxies should be at the office (in Auckland) 72 hours before the meeting, and that it is intended to hold the meeting there. Now, of course, the last rumour is out of the question, the meeting having baan called for Hamilton ; but I would wish to point out to all shareholders in Waikato that the \ery greatest danger to the success of the whole mover ment is impending, and if it is not nipped in the bud, we shall have another case of the freezing business over again. In fact we country folks stand a good chance of being frozen out, whilst a nico little Queen Street pirty will have the running of the North New Zealand Farmers' Co-oporative Association. I trust all who can will come to the meetiugon the 17fch inst.,— I am, &c. T. G. Saihmjs. Hamilton, 11th Juno, 1884.
