DUNEDIN, Tuesday.
The outcome of the meetings of the investors in the West Coast mines, which have been held here, has been the formation, of an Association for mutual protection. Wednesday. A fatal accident occurred last night four or five miles from the city, on the North road. A carter named Win, Duffy, returning home, was found lying on the road, the wheel having evidently passed over him. He had a drink a short time previously at a road-side hotel, but the landlord says he was then quite capable of attending to his horse.
