Export of Butter. Auckland, Wednesday Night. Over 1000 kegs of butter were shipped to Sydney by the Rotomahana to-day. The export is greatly on the increase.
The Northumberland's Immigrants. It is understood that the local initnigration officer intends to forward a strong report to the Government on the wretched accommodation for the immigrants aboard the ship Northumberland.
Another Temperance Victory. The Takapuna licensing poll resulted in the teetotal ticket being returned.
Land Sale. At the sale of Ellerslie allotments today, prices ranged from 24s to 30s per foot.
Fashionable Marriage. Mr Browning, solicitor, was married to Miss Kate Buckland to-day.
On 'Change. The Bharemarket is very dull. Sales : Imperials, Ids ; sellers, Caledonians, 11s 6d ; Canadian, 4s.
