Manoapiko Road Boaup v. Roukrt Kay. — Defendant was charged under the Highways Act with 7iot having complied with an order by the board to grub and remove ceitain fuue growing on the public road near his property. Mr Mandeno appeared for the board. Defendant was fined In, and costs 17s. Mangapiko Road Board v. Hugh Goodfellow. Similar case to Kays. Defendant was fined Is, and costs 15s. Connell v. Hopkins.— Debt, £12 15s fid. No appearance of defendant. Mr Gresham for plaintiff. Judgment for full amount, and costs £2 15s. Miles v. Worth ington. — Debt 10s. No appearance of defendant. Judgment for plaintiff, and costs 12i. Connell v. Helps. — Adjourned by consent till next com t day.
