At a public meeting of the Tram Company the balance-sheet showed a piofit of £2000, but as most of this was absorbed by payment of interest on deposits and debantiues, no dividend was declared. The traffic is .steadily increasing. The meeting was adjourned for a month, to consider the advisability of issuing new sharc3. At present only £25,000 of £30,000 capital is called up.
