Wednesday. At the inquest on the late fire at the premises of Maloney, saddler, at MaUetu, the jury returned an open verdict, with this tider : " The value of the stock has been much o\er-rated, and it wou'd be advisable for insurance agents to look moie fully into the value of stock before issuin« policies."'
