THE CAMBRIDGE PUBLIC HALL AND LIBRARY IMPROVEMENTS.

A special meeting of the Cambridge Town Board was held on Tuesday afternoon, for the purpose of confirming the resolutions of the board of the 19th January, re borrowing the sum of £(500 for the the improving and enlarging of the Public Hall and library building. Cr. Johnson occupied the chair. On the motion of Cr. Richardson, seconded by Cr. Johnson, it was agreed, " That the resolutions of this board on 15) th January, re borrowing the s>uiu of £000 for improvements to and enlargmentb of the Public Hall and library, be now confirmed. " Carried unanimously. On the motion of Cr. Clarke, it was also agreed, " That a meeting of ratepayers be held in the Public Hall, Cambridge, on Saturday, 23rd inst., at 7.30 p.m., for the purpo.se of taking the above resolutions into consideration."
