BOROUGH OF HAMILTON. ASSESSMENT COURT.

Wednseday. — (Before Mr H. W. Northcroft, Judge.) Capt. McPhi:kson appealed against the assessment of Lot 314, Hamilton East. Reduced from £5 to £2 14s. He also appealed against the assessment of Lot 33, Hamilton East. Reduced from £17 10s to £10 Bs. MrL. O'Neill, on behalf of the Hon. James Williamson, appealed against the assessment of part of Lot 370 and Lot 210, Hamilton West. After hearing the evidence of Mr Rose and Mr Knox, the judge reduced the amount from £100 10s to £27 4s. The assessments of the Commercial and Hamilton Hotels were each reduced from £230 to £200.
