After some dibcussion, it was arranged that Messrs Brunskill and Kallender should nnangeto accompany tlie Agricultural Company's engineer, Mr Breakell, over the road, and abcertain whether it would not be more ovperlient to make a slight diversion in the line of road, so as to sa\e bridge building, as in thn> case one biidge would do instead of having to

erect thiee. The Spakhow Nuisance.— A letter was leceived fiom the Cambridge Road Board, asking the co-operation of the board in tins matter, and enclosing a copy of a resolution adopted by that body at its labt meeting, setting forth the course .suggested to be taken. After &ome little discussion the proposal was coidially assented to. A few accounts having been passed for payment, the meeting terminated.

A meeting of ratepayer*, was subsequently held, for the purpose of closing a road known as the Whitehall and Bridgewater rood. The proposal was given effect to in the usual form.
