CAMBRIDGE B AN D CONCERT.
A oonckrt, in aid of the above band, was held m the Public Hall, Cambridge, on Tuesday evening last, and was, in point of attendance, very successful, the hall being well filled. The musical selections of the evening were well received, and evidently afforded much satisfaction, paiticulaily those of Mis Hickson, Mr Johnson and Mr Ellis. We weie not aware that Cambridge possessed such entertaining talent as that of Mr Ward, whoonthisoccasion fairly brought down the house with a series of nigger representations and songs. He acquitted himself in a very ci editable manner, and was le warded with very determined encores. Mr Mackintosh, well-known in connection with the Band in its early and most successful days, was present, and rendered some very perfect instrumental selections.
