A si'Ecr vr, meeting of the above body was hold at the town board office, Cambridge, on Saturday evening last. Present : Messrs T. Wells (chairman), R. Kirk wood, Jno. Fisher and J. P. Campbjll. Rk-leasino Dhkaummhis' Skoi'ioxs.— The Chairman stated tliat the meeting liad been convened for the purpose of considering Mr Jonathan Hill's application for permissiou to occupy, on lease, sections 33, sf>, and 57, Cambridge West. These wcie the allotments originally leased by JanicOBrien, W. Madigau and A. Graham, respectively, and taken by them at the auction sale. — It was agieed to reply to Mr Hill, stating that the board had no power to deal with his application until the Governor had re-entered into possession as pro\ ided. Pecuniary. — Mr J. O'Halloran applied foi half the co,ts of the dividing fence between the recreation reserve and allotments lcised by him. Mr O'Halloran stated in suppoit of his application that at the auction sale when he leased the allotments it wjs not stated that the allotments put aside as resei yes weie to be reserved, consequently he did not know but that the reser\ ev> ould be leased, and the lessee pay his share of the fencing. — It was unanimously agreed, on the motion of Mr Kirkwood, that Mr O'Halloran 'a claim being a fair one his claim be paid.
