TE AROHA MAIL SERVICE.
AcriNfi on the wishes of many lesidents of the Te Aroha town and district who prefer tho Waikato unite to that via the Thames, Mr J. B. Whyte, M.H.R., has exerted himself to bring about a change in the mail coach hervico. As a lesult of his efforts, the Postal Department ha*« ai ranged that tlie coach shall connect with the trains at Hamilton, leaving that place on Monday, Wednesday and JAriday, at 2.30 p.m., and ai riving at Te Aroha at 8 p.m. : leaving the latter place at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Satuulay, arriving at Hamilton at 1.30 p.m., in time to catch the mid-day tiain for Auckland. The effect of the change will be to diveit the greater pait of the passenger tiafiic through the Waikato.
