Friday.— [Before Mr H. W. Northcroft, R.M.] Civil Oases. Jcdoment was given in the following cases for plaintiffs with costs : — Evans \. John Naho. Claim 6s. — Evans and Ellis v. Hoani Tuhakaraina. Claim £4 5s 4d, judgment debt, costs £2 4s, the amount to be paid within a month, or in default two weeks' imprisonment. — J. W. Merrick v. Hoani Tuhakaraina. Claim £20 18s lOd, judgment debt, costs £2 18s 6d, the amount to be paid within six weeks, or in defanlt two weeks' imprisonment. — Yeates Bros. v. G. Cook. Claim £4 15s 2d, costs £1 10a.— Yeates Bros. v. John Bell. Claim £2 13s yd, costs £1 0s lOd. — Yeates Bros. v. Johnson. Claim £2 15s 7d, costs £1 0s lOd. A large number of cases was settled out of court.
