CORONATION OF THE CZAR. A Magnificent Spectacle. [REUTERS CABLEGRAMS.] Moscow, May 27.
The coronation of the Uzar Mas celebrated here to-day with great ceremony afc the Cathedial of the Assumption, in the presence of a large and brilliant assembly of representatives from Europeon and foreign Courts. The spectacle was one of extreme magnificence, and nothing occurred to m.ir its impressiveuess. The Imperial rescript issued by His Majesty ou the occasion declares that the power and glory of the Russian Empire are complete, and repudiates the idea of aggrandisement by military conquest. During the evening the city was most brilliantly illuminated, and His Majesty drove through the streets without an escort. The Czar was everywhere received with the greatest enthusiasm.
