The Markets. Auckland, Last Night. The market to-day shews few alterations from last weeks quotations. Butter, wholesale, now realises Is per 1b ; retail, Is 3d ; eggs have advanced in value 3d per doz ; the gum market continues quiet, the weeks receipts being 450 tous.

Board of Education. At the Board of Education meeting, today, Mr Dargaville withdrew his motion for fortnightly nuetiugs, and resigned his seat.
