THE LATE PIC NIG AT NGARUAWAHIA. TO THE EDITOR.

Sir,— l beg to state I am the originator of the paragraph which Mr R. James has thought fit to comment upon in your issue of the 10th hist., and consequently the person alluded to in such select language. A refutation of such infamous and untruthful charges in the columns of this paper would be undesirable for many reasons, and, indeed, I should hope unnecessary on my part. However, there is another — and in this case the most suitable — tribunal before which I shall invite Mr James to attend, and that with as little delay as possible. — I am, etc., T. Y. Fitzpatrick. Xgaruawahia, 12th April.
