MEiisns Gamblk and Okmsti;\d, representatives of the Pacific Mail Company, had an interview with the Premier this morning, regarding the i-enewal of the San Francisco mad service. Nothing, however, can be done until it is ascertained whether the New South Wales Government are willing to commence new negotiations. A cablegram has been sent to the latter, asking what they intend to do in the matter.
