ENGLISH & FOREIGN. [BY TELEGRAPH.-COPYRIGHT.] [REUTERS TELEGRAMS.]
' ,To' THE EDITOR. Sir, —l notice in your issue of 11th an advertisement by Mr S. Steele, calliug a public meeting at Ohaupo racecourse, with the view of forming a cheese factory. If Mr Steele had called his meeting at Ohaupo it would look like business, but I presume Mr Steele would like to have the factory located somewhere in one of his«tirtree paddocks 1 handy for his, otyn use., Ohaupo, Sir, ( is, 'the most central- and suitable place for such a factory iv every point of view, being ih'tlie' 1 'centre' of'the r most thicklysettled part of the country, and, as milk is not benefitted by a long jdrive, would be close to a good many, who would most likely supply the ; cqrjimodity) required. Hoping some others will take the matter up who will consider the convenience of the public generally, leaving self put,of the matter. —l,am&c, , Equidistant. Ohaupo, 12th, January. [There is ample room for anoth er. factory at Oh,apj>o. 'The interests of that and the one pt the racecourse would not clash in any' way.■^-j-Ed-.j ,
