PUNIU DOMAIN BOARD.

The monthly meeting of the Puniu Domain Board was held in the Public Hall, Te Awamutu, on Saturday last, Messrs Walton (chairman), Whitfield, and Johns being present. The minutes of last meeting having been read and confirmed, tenders for a seven years' lease of the Te liahu reserve (about 84 acres) were opened with the following result. ' W. J. Thompson, £400 for the timber, and £5 a year for the land ; Conlthard Brothers, £305 for the timber without the land. The latter was accepted. It was also determined to write to th« chairman of the Kihikihi Town Board for the name of a gentleman to be recommended by that town and district to succeed the late Mr Corboy as a member of the board. The annual accounts, showing receipts, £45 10s ; payments, £4 14s Id ; and balance 'in bank, £40 15s lid ; were passed and ordered to be sent to the public auditor.
