SUNDAY-SCHOOL PICNIC AT PUKETE.

On Monday, the Sth January, a very enjoyable picnic took place at Havlaw, Puketc. Mrs Alexander invited all the children in the district, and a very pleasant day was passed. The children enjoyed themselves immensely, swinging and other out-door games were the order of the day. An ample supply of eatables and drinkables was provided by the host and hosfess, and when the shades of evening closed around, the little ones sung the National Anthem, gave three cheers for their teachers, and dispersed after spending a delightful day.
