Presbyterian Picnic, Cambridge.
A most successful picnic in connection with the Trinity Presbyterian Church, Cambridge, was held on the property of Mr A. B. Stubbing at Gwynnelands on Boxing Day. Though the weather was somewhat threatening a large number of people, including children and adults composed the gathering, which proved a very enjoyable reunion. A large and well selected programme of sports was gone through, and the entries being large and the prizes good, some excellent;'sport resulted. Messrs. Robert Fisher and Robert Watson conducted the sports. The party returned to Cambridge m the evening in their conveyances, having, notwithstanding the occasional unpleasantness ok the weather, thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The committee are very thankful to Mr Stubbing for the use of his suitable and convenient grounds.
