The pitch was a soft one, and favourable for tall scoring. The first t\\ o wickets fell for 46, and the" total only amounted to 80. The Nelson' wickets fell rapidly, four being down for I ran, and that was a legjbye, nine hvere down .for IP, but Mcbsrs Malcolm and L.
