Mr Reed was formerly in partnership with Mr Uutton, solicitor, Hokitika. In the Appeal Court to-day, the conspiiacy case of Adams was argued. Their Honors rc&crved judgment until Monday. The kefccli Elizabeth, which went ashore at Otaki, is much strained, and leaking. However, it is thought that the necessary repaus can be effected at Otaki. Inquiries are being made here as to the whereabouts of the manager of a Wellington building and investment society. ,
