Dcj.nedix, Last Night. Is" the cricket match against Auckland to-day, the local team scored 57 in their first innings. At 3 o'clock the Auckland toarn had lost six wickets foy 124 run&, Barton being not out for 32.
The fhst innings of the Auckland team closed for 150, Barton carrying his bat out for 76 ; Ameil, caught, 3i. Barton played a grand innings light through, giving only one chance. The Otago team carried him off the ground shoulder high. The Dvmedm team in their second innings have one wicket down for 9 runs.
