CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night.

Night. Capt. Anderson, of the barque Wild Wave, reports that last Monday when passing the coast between Catlins River and Nugget Point, he noticed in shore what appeared to be a large vessel, with the foremast and middlemast only standing. He was at considerable distance, and cannot speak positively, but both himself and his chief officer agreed that the vessel had all appearance of having lost her mainmast and being ashore somewhere near False Inlet.
