Sculling Match. London, June 22. Articles have been signed by Largan and Pearce for another sculling match to be rowed ou the Thames.

Lokdon, June 23. The sculling match, which has been arranged between Pearce and" Largan, will take place on the Thames, on July 10th.

The Egyptian Difficulty. London, June 22. Telegrams are to hand announcing that a large number of European refugees from Egypt are daily reaching Malta and Cyprus. The arrivals already number several thousand, most of whom are in an utterly destitute condition.

The Tea Market. Foo Chow, June 20. The export of tea to the colonies to date amounts to se\ en and a half mil* lions of pounds. The price for most descriptions are two taels below the quotations at the opening of the season, but the supply offered of finest quality is small, and the market for those .descriptions is firm,

The Frozen Meat Trade. The cargo of irozen meat, eonsistiug of 4100 carcases of mutton, •hipped fr#m Australia, by the steamship Sorata, has been sold here, to arrive. The price has, however, been witheld.

England and Egypt. London., June 22. In the House of Commons, to-day, Sir Charles Dilke, Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, in reply to a question, stated that the British Government did not recognise the new Ministry which had recently been formed in Egypt.

Conference of Ambassadors. 7* Constantinople, June 22. ' The conference of European Ambassadors met here to-day, as arranged, but adjourned without transacting any business, as the Austrian and German representatives had not yet received directions from their Governments as to their policy.

The Sultan and the Khedive. It has transpired that the Sultan has telegraphed to the Khedive approving of the appointment of Arabi Pasha as Minister of War, in the Egyptian Ministry.
