It is now announced that Earl Spencer, the newly-appoiuted _ Viceroy of Ireland, will * continue to r hold the position of Lord President of the Privy Council, but will be assisted in the duties of that office by the Lord of the Privy Seal.
Cairo, May 1. It has now transpired that the courtmartial which tried the Circassian officers for conspiracy to murder Arabi Pasha, Minister of War, has found that Ismail Pasha, ex-Khedive, was the instigator of the conspiracy, and the court consequently recommended that his civil list should be stopped. Forty-three Circassian officers of the Egyptian army, who were last month arrested on a charge of conspiracy to murder Arabi Pasha, Minister of War, have been tried by court-martial, and sentenced to be exiled.
