THE CRICKET MATCH ENGLAND Y. A USTRALIA. Sydney, February 18.

The return cricket match between Shaw's English team and the combined Eleven of New South Wales and Victoria was resumed to-day. The combined team continued their first innings, which closed for a total of 197, as against 133 of the Englishmen. The full scores are as follows : Massie, 50 ; Evans, 11 ;Blackham, 40 ; Horan, 4; Macdonnell, 14 ; Murdoch 10 ; Palmer, 16 ; Garrett, 4; Jones, 37; Coulthard, G; Boyle, nil: Total 197. The bowling of the Englishmen was dead on the wicket, and the fielding was excellent. The attendance at the match was large. The weather was very fine. When the wickets were drawn for the day the Englishmen, in their second innings, had scored 8 runs for the loss of no wickets.
