A Labge meeting attended by 2000 delegates of Ulster farmers was held to-day at Belfast, when resolutions were passed in favour of the extension of'the .Irish Land Act, so as to provide for the appointment of a Land Commission for each county in Ireland, instead of for large districts only as at present. The meeting further resolved that the reductions, m.rent which have been made by the Land Courts up to the present time were totally inadequate in the view of the Irish tenants. The Union Bank of Australia has declared a dividend of 7 per cent, for the past half-year. The Irish Executive has decided that Parnell, OBrien, and O'Kelly, the Land Leaguers, shall be detained in custody for a further period of three months. At expiration of that time they will be released.
