PRESBYTERIAN, CHURCH CONVERSAZIONE.
A pleasant and well sustained enterment of the above type was held on Tuesday evening in the Volunteer and Public Hall, Hamilton. The attendance was comparatively speaking limited, a circumstance unaccounted for by the fact that the evening had been devoted to various other engagements. In the unavoidable absence of Mr J. B. White M.H.R. the chair was occupied by the Rev Mr Evans of Cambridge. Amongst other decorations the platform was set out with a plentiful-dis-play of flowers. Entertaining and instructive addresses were delivered by the chairman, the Rev Mr"" Griffin (Wesleyan), and the Rev Mr Fnlton,pastor of the congregation'r A well-rendered programme of sacred and other songs -^was sung during' the evening, 'the principal performers being ladies, belonging tothe congregation,' Mr T.'^A.'
