London, January 18. Intelligence to hand states that the treaty of peace has been signed between Cliili and Bolivia, the ally of Peru in 'the late war. Intelligence received from India states that Keebau, King of Burmah, is dying, with unmistakable signs of insanity developed. Great excitement is manifested in Germany over the Imperial rescript issued by the Emperor, claiming half the Crown prerogatives, which are considered inconsistent with the existence of a Liberal policy. This feeling is increasing in intensity, and it is believed that when Reichstag reassembles a bitter conflict may be expected between the Liberals and the Crown. The condition of anarchy in Armenia has become so great, that Earl Duffeiin, British ambassador in Constantinople, has been instructed to make a representation of the subject to the Porte, urging the absolute -necessity of some remedial measures such as were promised under the treaty with Great Britain. Much alarm is caused by the spread of small-pox. The number of cases during the past four months has greatly increased, especially in California, and the authorities are called on to take more stringent measures of precaution. Sydney, January 20. The public banquet tendered to Rear Admiral Wilson, on the occasion of his departure from the colonies, took place last night. The affair was a great success. Brisbane, January 20. Six escapees from New Caledonia landed at Bowen. Two have been recaptured by the police. Adelaide, January 20. Arrived, last evening, the Orient steamship Liguria, from Plymouth.
