A Reuters telegram to hand last night from Sydney reports as follows :—: — Arrived, last night : The Union Company's steamer Wakatipu, from Wellington. Sir John Robertson, who was recently appointed Minister of Lands, and who acts as Colonial Secretary in the absence of Sir Henry Parkes, has been returned unopposed for Mudgee. The Russian warships Africa, Plestow, and Westnie sail hence to-morrow for Hobart Town and Melbourne.
