Our correspondent wires, last night : — Mr John ' Sheehan, M.H.R., will be married to-morrow to Miss Young, of Mahurangi. The Star says :— Mr Morgan has devised si new method for treating potatoes so ast> enable them to stand long voyageq. A trial shipment will be sent to England and India by Cunningham and Co. The latest news from the quarantine station states that, with the exception of the two patients, all the New Zealand passengers are in good health. Crawfords case is not considered serious, while doubts still exist as to the exact nature of Stranger's complaint
