Sydney, Yesterday. A banquet was given to Sir H. Parkes, Premier, last night, at which over a hundred members of Parliament were present, together with a number of leading citizens. Brisbane, Yesterday. A serious fire occurred last night in Petwee Terrace, in this city, resultingjn the destruction of several houses. ' The insurances include £400 in the New Zealand offices.
