Governor and Lady Gordon and family arrived at Lyttelton by the Hinemoa shortly after one o'clock, and came to Christchurch by special train. On arrival they were driven to Mr John Studholme's, at Merrivale, where they will reside during their visit. Dunedin, Last Night. Mary Ann Weston, alias Smith, was arrested last night by the police for drunkenness. They found her in the streets at a late hour with a dead child in her arms.
