Ocr correspondent wires last night :— It ia stated that several charges of alleged impersonating at the election will be instituted by the .Returning Officer foi South Wellington. Mr Bryce returns to Parihaka next week, where he will remain for a few days. Arrived : The Penguin, from Picton and Nelson ; the Wanaka, from the South ; Orari, from London ; G. M Tucker, from Newcastle. Sailed : Penguin, for the South. Various declarations of polls taken throughout different parts of the colony have taken place, the results in each case being unaltered. An infant, 11 months old, died from scalds caused by the pulling over of a teapot. Finding of the coroner's jury— "Accidental death."
