INTERCOLONIAL. [REUTERS TELEGRAMS.] Sympathy with the Jews. Sydney, Yesterday.

A crowded public meeting was held last night at the Masonic Hall for the purpose of expressing sympathy with the persecuted Jews in Russia, and for raising funds for their assistance. Resolutions were passed in accord with the object of the meeting, and a committee was formed to collect subscriptions. Over £100 were subscribed in the room.
