Further Native Trouble Imminent. [BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH, UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.]
New Plymouth, Last Night. TuiNffs are again assuming a disquieting appearance at Pungarehu, and the Constabulary are under orders to hold themselves in readiness for immediate action. The cause of this is that the natives have resumed their obstruction by fencing Crown land to the seaward of the native reserve. As the natives are very persistent, and will not desist after receiving repeated warnings, it is more than probable that the Constabulary will be called out to remove the trespassers.
