Destructive Fire in Quebec. London, June 9.
Telegrams have been received from Quebec, Oaiiada, announcing that a most destructive fire lias occurred in that city. It broke out in a thickly-populated part, and. spread with great rapidity to several
blocks of houses, all efforts to allay ita progress being for some time without avail. The conflagration raged for several hours with great severity, but was finally extinguished. It is entiraated that fully one thousand houses have been completely destroyed. It it* not yet know u whether any loss of life has ocourred.
