The news of the surrender of the Bey of TuriiH and the terms of the treaty which hns been agreed to by him has caused great excitement thioughoufc Italy. Indignation is freely expressed at the action of France. It is expected that diplomatic repiesentafions will sit once bo nrtde to th«s French Government with regard to the position of the Bey, as the autonomy of the Tunisian people is affected by the treaty.
